Taxonomy
Paricrioma truncatum was named by Bragin (2007). Its type locality is 98-2-2, Lara Bay, which is in a Lacian basinal (carbonate) limestone in the Phasoula Formation of Cyprus.

It was recombined as Icrioma truncatum by Danelian (2010).
