Taxonomy
Glochinomorpha stifeli was named by Gordon (1971). Its type specimen is USNM 170606, an other (Gladius), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS 19020-PC, Terrace Mountains, which is in a Roadian marine shale in the Phosphoria Formation of Utah. It is the type species of Glochinomorpha.
