Taxonomy
Kozurastrum huxleyense was named by Carter (1993). Its type locality is 89-CNA-SKUB-19 Kunga Island, which is in a Rhaetian basinal (siliciclastic) limestone/siltstone in the Sandilands Formation of Canada.

It was recombined as Pseudoheliodiscus huxleyensis by Yeh and Cheng (1996); it was recombined as Hexasaturnalis huxleyense by Danelian (2010).
