Taxonomy
Licharewia micluchomaclayi was named by Zavodovsky (1959). Its type specimen is TsNIGR 242/9774, a valve (Ventral valve), and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Tumarinia micluchomaclayi by Grigorjeva (1977); it was recombined as Penzhinella micluchomaclayi by Solomina (1985).
