Taxonomy
Knightina macknighti was named by Sohn (1954) [?Knightina macknighti]. Its type specimen is USNM 118393, a shell (Carapace), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USNM703c, Old Word Ranch, Glass Mountains, which is in a Kungurian slope limestone in the Road Canyon Formation of Texas.
