Basslerella crassa
Taxonomy
Basslerella crassa was named by Kellett (1935). Its type specimen is USNM 90123 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cottonwood River Bridge, shale on top of buff limestone, Elmdale, which is in a Gzhelian shallow subtidal shale in the Elmdale Formation of Kansas.
