Aviculipecten delawarensis

Taxonomy
Aviculipecten delawarensis was named by Girty (1908). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS 2931 green, Guadalupe Canyon, Guadalupe Mountains, which is in a Roadian slope limestone in the Cherry Canyon Formation of Texas.

It was recombined as Aviculopecten delawarensis by Elias (1958); it was recombined as Acanthopecten delawarensis by Newell (1938), Branson (1948) and Ciriacks (1963).
