Pleuronautilus changxingensis
Taxonomy
Pleuronautilus changxingensis was named by Zhao et al. (1978) [Probably at Nanjing Institute of Geol. and Paleo.]. Its type specimen is NIGP 14808 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Meishan Section, Meishan Mb Bed 4, which is in a Changhsingian carbonate limestone in the Changxing Formation of China.
