Taxonomy
Nuculopsis fujianensis was named by Wang (1993). Its type specimen is Fj-29-9, a valve (Right valve), and it is a mold. Its type locality is Jueqian Bed 29, Fenghai, Yong'an County, which is in a Changhsingian marine mudstone in the Yanshi Formation of China.
