It was assigned to Pterioida by Sepkoski (2002); to Pectinidae by Lamprell and Whitehead (1992), Jensen (1996), Kafanov et al. (2001) and Rosenberg et al. (2006); and to Decatopectinini by Bouchet et al. (2010).
