Taxonomy
Permofenestella mushnikovi was named by Popeko (1978). Its type specimen is DVTGU 104a/31M and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dal'niy Daur, Transbaikal, which is in a Roadian marine horizon in the Antiinsky Formation of the Russian Federation.
