Ruyangosaurus giganteus

Taxonomy
Ruyangosaurus giganteus was named by Lü et al. (2009). Its type specimen is 41HIII-0002, a set of postcrania, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shengshuigou, Shaping village, which is in an Aptian/Albian terrestrial horizon in the Haoling Formation of China. It is the type species of Ruyangosaurus.
