Obdurodon insignis

Taxonomy
Obdurodon insignis was named by Woodburne and Tedford (1975). Its type specimen is SAM P18087, a tooth (right upper molar), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is SAM Quarry North, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial sandstone in the Etadunna Formation of Australia.
