Taxonomy
Szechuanophyllum multitabulatum was named by Wang (1978). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shihuiyao, Qixia Fm, Renhuai County, which is in a Kungurian carbonate limestone in the Qixia Formation of China.
