Leproconcha was named by Giebel (1856) [Sepkoski's age data: Tr m]. It is not extant. Its type is Leproconcha paradoxa.
It was assigned to Pterioida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Isognomonidae by Ros-Franch et al. (2014).
