It was recombined as Glycymeris multicostata by Grant, IV and Gale (1931) and Squires (1959); it was recombined as Glycymeris (Tuceta) multicostata by Hertlein and Strong (1943); it was recombined as Tucetona multicostata by Olsson (1961); it was recombined as Tucetona (Bellaxinaea) multicostata by Coan et al. (2000); it was recombined as Glycymeris (Tucetona) multicostata by Moore (1983) and Powell (2008).
