Diplodonta harfordi was named by Anderson (1905) [DISTRIBUTION: Late Oligocene; Pacific Coast, North America.]. It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Felaniella harfordi by Addicott (1973); it was recombined as Felaniella (Felaniella) harfordi by Moore (1988).
