Hybolophus granti

Bivalvia - Carditida - Crassatellidae

Taxonomy
Spisula granti was named by Wiedey (1928). Its type specimen is SDSNH 40, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is LSJU loc. 200, Los Vaqueros Valley, which is in a Miocene coastal horizon in the Vaqueros Formation of California.

It was recombined as Crassatellites granti by Loel and Corey (1932); it was recombined as Crassatella granti by Moore (2003); it was recombined as Hybolophus granti by Hendy (2020).
