Mactromeris abbotti

Bivalvia - Cardiida - Mactridae

Taxonomy
Spisula abbotti was named by Wiedey (1928). Its type specimen is SDSNH 39, a valve, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is LSJU loc. 440, which is in a Miocene coastal sandstone in the Temblor Formation of California.

It was recombined as Mactromeris abbotti by Moore (2003).
