Arca aequatorialis was named by d'Orbigny (1846). It is extant.

It was recombined as Anadara (Cunearca) aequatorialis by Reinhart (1943) and Keen (1971); it was recombined as Anadara aequatorialis by Cantalamessa et al. (2005) and Hendy (2020).

  • Arca ovata was named by Reeve (1844). It is extant.

    It was replaced with Anadara (Cunearca) aequatorialis by Keen (1971).
  • Arca subelongata was named by Nyst (1848). It is extant.
