Atrina bicuneata

Taxonomy
Pinna bicuneata was named by Nomland (1917). Its type specimen is UCMP 11307, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP loc. 2284, which is in a Miocene marine sandstone in the Santa Margarita Formation of California.

It was recombined as Pinna (Atrina) bicuneata by Grant and IV and Gale (1931); it was recombined as Atrina bicuneata by Moore (1983).
