Erymastacus hoerstgenensis
Taxonomy
Erymastacus hoerstgenensis was named by Bachmayer and Malzahn (1983). Its type specimen is Naturhistorisches Museum Wien 1982/106, a claw (Carpus with propodus and dactylus), and it is a cast. Its type locality is Friedrich-Heinrich Colliery, Hoerstgen ventilation shaft 4, 280-285 m, which is in a Wuchiapingian shallow subtidal limestone in the Zechstein Formation of Germany.
