U. S. Grant, IV and H. R. Gale 1931Shell of medium size, spire high, whorls smooth, nearly flat-sided, sutures not impressed, with the result that the spire as a whole has a blunted, slightly convex, torpedo-like outline; body whorl scarcely rounded m toward the straight columella, giving the aperture the shape of the aperture of a Pseudomelatoma; posterior notch, as indicated by the growth Imes on the anal fasciole, rounded, not very deep, a short distance below the suture.
