Taxonomy
Leda elenensis was named by Sowerby I (1833). It is extant.

It was recombined as Nuculana (Jupiteria) elenensis by Coan et al. (2000); it was recombined as Saccella elenensis by Hendy (2021).

Synonyms
  • Leda acapulcensis was named by Pilsbry and Lowe (1932) [DISTRIBUTION: Recent; Eastern Pacific.]. It is extant.

    It was recombined as Saccella acapulcensis by Woodring (1973); it was synonymized subjectively with Nuculana (Jupiteria) elenensis by Coan et al. (2000).
