Pseudocorbula pseudogregaria was named by Kurushin (1992). Its type specimen is TsSGM 950/165, a valve (Right valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kengdey River, Longobardian, Kharaulakh Mountains, which is in a Longobardian marine horizon in the Russian Federation.
