Taxonomy
Cardinioides voronetsae was named by Kurushin (1992). Its type specimen is TsSGM 950/10, a shell (Conjoined shell), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kiryaka-Tas Elevation, eastern Taimyr, which is in a Spathian marine horizon in the Russian Federation.
