Taxonomy
Procurvoceratites pygmaeus was named by Brayard and Bucher (2008). Its type specimen is PIMUZ 26195 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jinya Section Jin28, which is in a Smithian slope lime mudstone in China. It is the type species of Procurvoceratites.
