Marginifera qamarensis
Taxonomy
Marginifera qamarensis was named by Yanagida and Pillevuit (1994). Its type specimen is MGL 63169, a valve (Ventral valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jebel Qamar South, Sample 1496, which is in an Artinskian/Kungurian carbonate limestone in the Asfar Formation of the United Arab Emirates.
