Cancellospirifer maxwelli

Taxonomy
Cancellospirifer maxwelli was named by Campbell (1953). Its type specimen is UQ F14242, a shell (Conjoined shell), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UQ L999, Dry Creek, Ingelara, which is in a Wuchiapingian coastal mudstone in the Peawaddy Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Cancellospirifer.
