Uralosaurus magnus
Taxonomy
Erythrosuchus magnus was named by Ochev (1980). Its type specimen is PIN 2973/70 (formerly SGU 104/3516), a partial skull (Left pterygoid), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Karagachka (locality 34), PIN 2973, which is in an Anisian deltaic sandstone in the Donguz Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Uralosaurus.
It was recombined as Uralosaurus magnus by Sennikov (1995) and Ezcurra (2016).
