Taxonomy
Semuridia was named by Melville (1956) [Sepkoski's age data: J Sine-l J Sine-u Sepkoski's reference number: 92,715]. It is not extant. Its type is Semuridia jacksoni.

It was assigned to Myalinidae by Melville (1956); to Pterioida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Pergamidiidae by Ros-Franch et al. (2014).
