Taxonomy
Oliva volutella was named by Lamarck (1811). It is extant. It is the type species of Lamprodoma.

It was recombined as Olivella (Lamprodoma) volutella by Olsson (1956) and Keen (1971).

Synonyms
  • Oliva razamola was named by Duclos (1835). It is extant.

    It was synonymized subjectively with Olivella (Lamprodoma) volutella by Keen (1971).
