Taxonomy
Diacodexis parvus was named by Kumar et al. (2010). Its type specimen is GU 1568, a tooth (M1), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Vastan Lignite Mine, which is in a Ypresian lagoonal siltstone/claystone in the Cambay Shale Formation of India.
