Taxonomy
Littorina liscaviensis was named by Giebel (1856). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lieskau Quarry, Halle, which is in a Triassic shallow subtidal limestone in Germany.
It was recombined as Coelostylina liscaviensis by Yu et al. (1974) and Yin and Yochelson (1983).
