Peltichia zigzag
Taxonomy
Parenteletes zigzag was named by Huang (1933). Its type specimen is NIGP 4677 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tating-hsien, Locality 1324, which is in a Changhsingian offshore limestone in the Changxing Formation of China.
It was recombined as Enteletina zigzag by Jin et al. (1974) and Yang et al. (1977); it was recombined as Enteletes zigzag by Yang and Lu (1980); it was recombined as Peltichia zigzag by Zeng et al. (1995), Shen et al. (1999), Chen (2005) and Zhang et al. (2014).
It was recombined as Enteletina zigzag by Jin et al. (1974) and Yang et al. (1977); it was recombined as Enteletes zigzag by Yang and Lu (1980); it was recombined as Peltichia zigzag by Zeng et al. (1995), Shen et al. (1999), Chen (2005) and Zhang et al. (2014).
