Taxonomy
Waagenophyllum stereoseptatum was named by Wu and Wang (1974). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Wenxing Town, Changxing Fm, Beipei County, which is in a Changhsingian carbonate limestone in the Changxing Formation of China.
