Transennatia margaritatus
Taxonomy
Productus margaritatus was named by Mansuy (1913). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kham-keut, at Kham-mon (Schwagerina princeps horizon), which is in an Asselian/Sakmarian carbonate limestone in Laos.
It was recombined as Dictyoclostus margaritatus by Shimizu (1961), Jin et al. (1974) and Lee and Gu (1980); it was recombined as Asioproductus margaritatus by Tong (1978); it was recombined as Transennatia margaritatus by Wang et al. (1982) and Zeng et al. (1995).
