Taxonomy
Nucundata obliqua was named by Waterhouse (1964). Its type specimen is NZGS TM3440 and is a mold. Its type locality is GS6072, Letham Burn (D44/f9623), which is in a Capitanian marine horizon in the Mangarewa Formation of New Zealand.
