Ovaloolithus turpanensis
Taxonomy
Ovaloolithus turpanensis was named by Zhang and Wang (2010). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is IVPP V16860.1, an egg, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is South of Shisanjianfang, which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian terrestrial horizon in the Subashi Formation of China.
