Aulochiton sannerae

Aulochiton sannerae was named by Pojeta et al. (2010) [Preacanthochtion aff. cooperi Bergenhayn 1960 173 f. 1.9-1.10
Preacanthochtion cooperi Runnegar et al. 1979 1391 pl. 2 f. 62-63, 65-66, not pl. 2 f. 64]. Its type specimen is USNM 537366, a valve (intermediate valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ulrich Loc. 455-v. south slope of hill (near top) 4¾-5 miles S of Potosi, which is in a Trempealeauan carbonate dolomite in the Eminence Formation of Missouri. It is the type species of Aulochiton, Aulochiton.
