Progalesaurus lootbergensis

Taxonomy
Progalesaurus lootbergensis was named by Sidor and Smith (2004). Its type specimen is SAM-PK-K9954, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is New Lootsberg Pass, Tweefontein Farm, which is in an Induan dry floodplain siltstone/sandstone in the Balfour Formation of South Africa. It is the type species of Progalesaurus.
