Hyperodapedon stockleyi

Taxonomy
Scaphonyx stockleyi was named by Boonstra (1953). Its type specimen is SAM 11704, a maxilla, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tunduru district, which is in a Carnian/Norian terrestrial horizon in Tanzania.

It was recombined as Supradapedon stockleyi by Chatterjee (1980); it was recombined as Hyperodapedon stockleyi by Langer et al. (2000) and Mukherjee and Ray (2015).
