Taxonomy
Baeorhynchia nitida was named by Cooper (1989). It is not extant. Its type locality is KK7, Al Bakhra, Dorsetensia Zone, which is in a Bajocian shallow subtidal limestone in the Dhruma Formation of Saudi Arabia.
