Taxonomy
Lirellarina costellata was named by Cooper (1989). It is not extant. Its type locality is Wadi al Ghab, S1677, which is in a Bajocian shallow subtidal limestone in the Dhruma Formation of Saudi Arabia. It is the type species of Lirellarina.
