Arabatia arabica

Taxonomy
Arapsopleurum arabicum was named by Cooper (1989). Its type specimen is USNM 380444, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Zilfi, S154, which is in a Callovian shallow subtidal limestone in the Tuwaiq Mountain Formation of Saudi Arabia. It is the type species of Arapsopleurum.

It was recombined as Arabatia arabica by Williams et al. (2006).
