Taxonomy
Halkieria denlanatiformis was named by Missarzhevsky and Mambetov (1981) [Mambetov in Missarzhevskiy and Mambetov 1981]. It is not extant. Its type locality is Aktugay, bed 5, which is in a Tommotian perireef or subreef dolomite in the Chulaktau Formation of Kazakhstan.
