Taxonomy
Anabarites signatus was named by Missarzhevsky and Mambetov (1981) [Mambetov in Missarzhevskiy and Mambetov (1981)]. It is not extant. Its type locality is Berkuty, bed 4, which is in a Tommotian marine chert/phosphorite in the Chulaktau Formation of Kazakhstan.
