Adocus orientalis

Taxonomy
Adocus orientalis was named by Gilmore (1931). Its type specimen is AMNH 6356, a partial shell (nearly complete anterior half of the plastron), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ergil Obo (Ergilin Dzo sublocality), which is in an Eocene terrestrial sandstone in the Ergilin Dzo Formation of Mongolia.
