Monocycloides oelandicus
Taxonomy
Monocycloides oelandicus was named by Berg-Madsen (1987). Its type specimen is Holotype RM Ec27420, paratypes RM Ec27421-27426 and is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Lepidurus unit, Hälludden cliff section, which is in a Volkhov deep subtidal shelf grainstone/marl in the Langevoja limestone Formation of Sweden. It is the type species of Monocycloides.
