Nicomedites caucasius

Taxonomy
Hollandites caucasius was named by Shevyrev (1968). Its type specimen is PIN 1477/434 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tkhach River, middle branch near bridge, Phyllocladiscites-Nicomedites beds, which is in a Bithynian marine carbonate in the Acheshbok Formation of the Russian Federation.

It was recombined as Nicomedites caucasius by Shevyrev (1995).
